Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Made by Doc, operated by MadebyDoc in Canada. By creating an account or using the board you agree to them.
Last updated 8 September 2026
What Made by Doc provides
Made by Doc is a career intelligence service for healthcare professionals and people moving into healthcare-adjacent work. We collect publicly posted roles, score them for market demand, growth and healthcare relevance, and explain what each role involves.
Paid plans add weekly role matching against your CV, ATS-oriented CV and cover letter drafts, and career gap analysis. Every role links out to the employer's own posting, and we do not republish full job descriptions.
No guarantee of interviews, offers or outcomes
Scores, match percentages, gap analyses and generated documents are informational tools. They are our estimates from public data and the information you give us. They are not predictions of hiring decisions and they do not guarantee an interview, an offer, a salary level or employment of any kind.
You remain responsible for what you send to an employer. Please read any generated CV or cover letter before you use it, and correct anything that does not match your real history.
Not licensing, medical or legal advice
Course suggestions, CME listings, upskilling recommendations and career pathway commentary are general information. They are not advice from any medical regulator, licensing authority or examination board, and they are not an assurance that a role, credential or pathway will be recognised where you practise.
- Licensing and registration requirements must be confirmed with the relevant authority — for example USMLE/ECFMG, MCC, a provincial college such as CPSO, or your local equivalent.
- Immigration, visa and right-to-work questions must be confirmed with the employer or a qualified adviser.
- Nothing on the site is medical, legal, tax or immigration advice.
Your account
- You need an accurate email address, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person. Accounts and plan allowances are not shared or resold.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- You can delete your CV at any time, and ask us to close your account by email.
Acceptable use
To keep the board usable and the data honest, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, bulk-export or systematically copy job records, scores or intelligence fields, or use automated clients to do so.
- Resell, republish or redistribute our scoring or enrichment data.
- Upload a CV or credentials that are not yours, or that contain qualifications, licences, registrations or employment history you do not hold.
- Use the generation tools to produce misleading applications, spam employers, or run volume applications on behalf of other people.
- Attempt to bypass plan allowances, authentication or rate limits, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission.
Plans, allowances and suspension
Paid plans include monthly document allowances; free allowances are a one-time window rather than a monthly reset. Billing, renewal and cancellation are covered in the Subscription, billing and refunds page.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks the acceptable use rules, particularly credential fraud or bulk extraction. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
Third-party content and employers
Job postings, employer information and external courses come from third parties. We are not the employer, the recruiter or the course provider, and we cannot control whether a posting is still open, accurate or filled. Applications, interviews and hiring happen entirely between you and the employer.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as it is, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We add, change and retire features as the product develops. If we make a material change to these terms we will update the date on this page and, for account holders, tell you by email.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, lost earnings or hiring outcomes arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your own country of residence.
Contact and dispute resolution
Questions, privacy requests, billing issues and complaints all go to support@madebydoc.com. We aim to send a first response within two business days, and to resolve privacy requests within 30 days.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. Most issues are billing or data questions we can settle by email without any formal process.
This page describes how we actually operate today. It is written in plain language and is not a substitute for advice from your own lawyer or regulator.
