How our data and scores work

Before you rely on a score, it helps to know where the numbers come from and what they cannot tell you.

Where the roles come from

  • We collect roles that employers have published publicly, from company career pages and public applicant tracking feeds such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workable and Workday.
  • We store a structured summary and link to the employer's original posting. We do not republish full job descriptions, and we never accept payment for a listing.
  • Listings are refreshed regularly, but a role can be filled or withdrawn before we notice. Always confirm on the employer's page.

What each score means

  • Demand: how actively this kind of role is being hired for, based on how often comparable roles appear and how they are advertised.
  • Growth: how the role family looks over a multi-year horizon, from public labour market and salary trend data.
  • Healthcare fit: how relevant the role is for a healthcare professional exploring non-clinical or healthcare-adjacent paths. It is not a hiring prediction.
  • CV fit, on paid plans, compares your own CV and career goal to the role's requirements. It reflects what is written in your CV, so a thin CV scores lower than your real ability.

How the analysis is produced

Each role is parsed into structured fields — seniority, licence requirements, work mode, salary range where stated, required skills — and then summarised. Language models help with extraction, classification and the written explanations; the underlying facts come from the posting itself.

Analysis is continuous rather than instant, so a role can appear on the board before every field is filled. Where you see "Not yet analysed", that field has not been processed yet, not that it is empty or negative.

Documents and gap analysis

  • ATS CVs and cover letters rewrite your real experience into the vocabulary a role and its tracking system use. They do not add qualifications, licences, employers or dates you did not provide.
  • Gap analysis compares what your CV shows against what your target roles ask for, and labels each suggested role with the gap it helps close.
  • Every output is a draft for you to check and edit. You are the final reviewer of anything you send to an employer.

Known limits

  • Scores are estimates from public information, not measurements of a hiring process.
  • Salary figures come from the posting or from public benchmarks, and can differ from an actual offer.
  • Coverage skews toward employers that publish roles publicly in English.
  • Licensing and right-to-work requirements change by jurisdiction and must be verified with the relevant authority.
